Coldplay - We Never Change (Live at Ancienne Belgique, 2000) [x]
HAHAHAH which gifset is this though? HAHAHA
If you’re referring to this one, that’s by Vik! And yes, he does make amazing gifsets! :)
The True Love music video isn’t offensive, in my opinion.
The two main characters’ main desire was to get a part in the ballet. That was their goal and driving force, as any character has in a story. Not the romance. The ballet.
People were prejudiced and didn’t respect them because of their physical differences, but it was in meeting each other —someone in the same situation— that they were able to succeed in meeting their goal. Not because they fell in love, but because there was now someone else with the same problems as them who could support them.
The video is not saying fat people can only fall in love with fat people. Despite the song title, the characters weren’t looking for love. They were looking to be in the ballet, and that’s what they got in the end.
The video is saying that even people against whom society is prejudiced can reach their dreams.
I was nominated by Gwyneth Paltrow and Shakira to do the #ALSIceBucketChallenge (please donate to The ALS Association at http://www.alsa.org/donate/). CM
